The NPD Group (NPD) and Information Resources, Inc (IRI) merged in August 2022 and announced the name of the company has changed to Circana.

February 2023 Circana (NPD) covers the four week period from January 29 to February 25 and will be released on March 28.

Be sure to get your predictions in before March 28. Since NPD leaks don't happen nearly as often as it used to and hardware revenue is something we do get, be sure to include revenue in your predictions. 

Feel free to also predict what you think the top software games will be for the month.

I haven't the slightest prediction for numbers with Sony's crazy shipments this quarter but I am assuming it will go PS5, Switch, Series S/X for both units and dollars.

The new name seems way off to me, "The NPD Group" was a perfect fit for a company doing market research, Circana sounds more like... the name of an AI or something. Maybe all their estimates will be AI generated from now on?

Does the new name has any ressemblance to some form of ancient Greek, roman, Latin knowledge ? Cuz otherwise this seems to be just an unnecessary, confusing name change. Doesn't roll off the tongue well either but oh well, as long as their primary functions remain the same ...
