I don't remember exactly the date Zelda launched, I remember I waited a little to see what boost had on Switch, and when some weeks go by then I knewed Switch is making more than 3/3.5M and I wrote it. But changing the prediction spring or even start of the summer if you want, is not a lie or bad thing. Simply I was confident enough to make the change in the prediction there. About the lifetime predictions, take it like a change of prediction 2 years later if you want .. I wouldn't take it as so, since " no more than 150" means 150.00 at most (my prediction made from around 2 years ago - again may be 2.5 years maybe 1.5 years, somewhere around 2 years period.) and now " high 140s to low 150s, the difference between these two is literally chance of the doubt of 1-2M more than 150M. So it's 99% the same. But as I said if you want take it like lifetime prediction adjustment 2 years later. Which by itself is very far from " lie " or " dishonesty ".

Zelda launched in May but i felt that way because I felt like you were trying to mislead the forum. So yes you definitely watch the boost and adjusted up. Regardless, I could have expressed this to you without the attact on your character. I went in it emotionally triggered and realize I can disagree without attacking you. I'm thinking Switch can still reach between 155 to 160, which means Sony and Nintendo fans will fight for eternity which sold more.

For this I am fine 100%. Every one has opinion and it's normal to be different. There were even people suggesting 180M lifetime in 2021 I remember.

Also nothing is impossible. However the most likely and the bigger chances of what will happen according to me, I express as my opinion and prediction. Which is around 150M lifetime (148/149 - 151/152M go in there as well) as of the date I am writing this.

Switch had another dominating year in Japan. And I expect Switch to sell better than PS5 and Xbox Series combined in 2024.

Does anyone know when are we going to get numbers for the first week of 2024? P.s I can't see how switch 2 will be released in 2024 instead of 2025+, having sold the whopping 4m in its 7th year... In Japaaaan, where consoles usually have their steepest decline nearing  replacement...

DS and PS2 were still selling really well the year before their replacement. 

Ideally you want to move on to the next thing while your brand is still hot rather than waiting for it to lose momentum and goodwill.

Switch is the most successful console  of all time. That is not an opinion.

Well technically, will be in Japan at least. Globally it isn't so sure it'll surpass the PS2. 

Nonetheless, a run marathon of legends !
