Forums - Sales - Famitsu Sales: Week 24, 2026 (Jun 08 – Jun 14)

Two Switch 1 games are on top of the chart. I wonder if Nintendo reacts to the collapsed hardware sales after the price increase in Japan. If the US and Europe sales also drop -30% after the price increase in September, suddenly Switch 2 sales are not very healthy anymore for a console in its second year. Probably we would talk about 100k weekly global.

US and Europe drop shouldn't be as dramatic as they are only an 11% and 6% price rise respectively. While Japan was a 20% price rise.

Damn, these sales do look bad. Splatoon Raiders better help the Switch 2. And someone could please do a CPR on the Switch 1, please?

Power Pros on switch is down from the last entry's 166k. Probably a consequence of the Switch's decline.

Tomodachi finally got knocked down to the #2 position, but still sold about 38k. Solid. Astrobot jumped into the top 10 out of nowhere. Was there a sale this week?

Was in top 10 last week if I wasn't wrong thanks to a promotion.

Wow Switch 1 down to even under 5k, I didn't expected that. And Switch 2 still around 25k .. Are they both out of stock ? or this is the real demand ?

Also, the price increase was way quicker between announcement and implementation in Japan (it was basically creating a little panic effect). The transition should be smoother for the rest of the world

Because you didn't expect a price hike either.

Ns2 went up, can it (still) be out of stock?

As for ns1, if we look last year's numbers, it seems almost normal.

The trend was to be selling every week half and a bit more of what it was last year.

So we should expect 6.5k+,add to the equation the price increase and voila.

Caralho!

Switch 2 goes back above 25k but only increased a bit so it looks like the general baseline could be in the 20's for the next period while the Switch 1 has its first sub 5k week so above 800k looked guaranteed this year but now it's up in the air if it'll reach 700k but either way this year will be it with it outright fully dying by early next year. Also just one more week till the PS5 starts doing decently YoY again.

New games can't come soon enough. Let's hope Starfox, and most importantly Splatoon Raiders, help the baseline go at least above 30k.

Bet with Teeqoz for 2 weeks of avatar and sig control that Super Mario Odyssey would ship more than 7m on its first 2 months. The game shipped 9.07m, so I won
