Forums - Sales Discussion - Famitsu Sales: Week 3, 2024 (Jan 15 - Jan 21)

Good surprise from the PS5 this week. But we're speaking of post holiday so usually. There's needs to be something happening for such to happen. bundles were set at a discount to move stock.

Not surprised that Another Code didn't have much of a presence in the chart. Spiderman 2 with the only increase week over week is not in most predictions. But it's understandable that it software sells is currently quite attached to the hardware sales as well.

I don't get PS5 boost. Is it from The last of us 2 remastered?

Maybe Chinese New Year approaching?

Hmm... somebody call Japan and let them know that they need to start purchasing more Switches so my prediction for the year isn't wrong.

my guess for the year 2024. PS5 will sell around 2 million this year bringing its lifetime sales to 7 million units.

Xbox Series X|S is still up year over year.

It's a shame week 6 is right around the corner. Not sure what happened with Xbox that week in 2023 lol.

Actually week 6 of 2023 was the strongest week of the entire year.

Yeah that's what I mean. Xbox won't be up YoY after that.
