What do you all think, should I reset the poll to be more fair, since the preorders starts tomorrow ? Or should I wait a little bit more ?

I was hoping people could get their votes in before the pre-orders start as it is the purest 'guess'...  but i think resetting is okay as long as we save the results of the pre-preorder predictions.

But yes, please reset it.  Obviously if the game winds up with 20 million pre-orders on Thursday. That changes the trajectory of a lot of predictions.  Will you include 'below 20 million units option?   Or will you bump it up?

$80 and no true physical will have an impact on sales. And decent chance PC version isn't coming within a year.

I’m feeling 40-60M (though more precisely 35-50M). Trailer views still indicate that consumer hype/interest exist, but nothing like in December 2023. At $80USD, the price tag will not be an issue. For only having one month on the market in 2026, it’d be crazy for sales to exceed 60M so quickly, esp when such a large portion of consumers will be holding out for the PC release (seeing as PS5 Pro is sitting comfortably at $900USD IIRC?)… but this is GTAVI. So anything is possible.

Honestly, depending on how far back they want to go in Graphic Card/CPU support... the testing/optomizing for something like this accross componet combos has be daunting to say the least.  Not to mention they way want to take time to add additional graphical support.  Also, GTA 6 online adds yet another wrinkle because they probably want to get that up and running so the whole package comes on PC at the same time (after launching and stabalizing on console).  Also, at that point they will essentially have the next gen version (whatever PC's ultra setting are) so when the decide to launch that is up in the aire too.

So much bullshit surrounding this game already. $80, code in a box, story content locked behind the ultimate edition ($100), online may not be added for a year or more, PC version may not be released until 2028 at the earliest.

I just don't know what to expect.
