So just like some of the previous threads, when the Switch was nearing the 100M mark and the PS1/Wii, then the 117/118M mark of the PS4 and Gameboy, now it's time to do one for the DS. Less than 2M left till it passes the DS (as of 30.09.2025). When do you think it will outsell it, breaking the 154.02M mark SOLD?

Their forecast has it beating DS by the end of March, but I'll err on the side of caution and give it another few months, as their target is very ambitious.

Should outship it by June or maybe March next year. Outselling it will take a little longer.

The Switch should ship 154 million by the end of March. It might not outsell the DS until June, though. So I'll go with June for outselling the Switch.

I put down the end of March, but I think end of June might be more accurate at this point in time. That said, I do expect Nintendo to announce a price cut or new a hardware iteration of the Switch. If either of those things happen, I have a feeling Switch will surpass DS in March.

It will have good sales through the holidays. February 13th 2025.

For outselling it it should be somewhat under 150m by the end of this year so the 2nd half of 2025 is a safe bet.
