I did say just about so next year is when it'll basically be finished. That year the sales of it will get so low that it won't really be worth discussing any more even if its decline in the final stretch ends up less severe than expected. It's already sold about 95% of its lifetime sales basically.

Yea, next year should be it's last with some meaningful sales. Although if Microsoft really wants, they can easily change that, and help it doing okayish for some 2 years more.

Thanks for all your work as usual trunks.

Considering all the console market has to contend with right now, not a bad month, particularly considering it was a slow month for Switch 2 software wise between Splatoon Raiders in July and Fire Emblem in September.

Good month for the Switch 2. I would say that next month would be worse for it due to the price going up at the start of September but it seems it did really well in the UK that month. Good month for the PS5 as well being notably up compared to the PS4 so GTA 6 is already doing something for it. In better circumstances it would be about to have an amazing 2nd half of the year. Xbox Series on the other hand is just about finished while the Switch 1 hits another low.

The UK month included August's last week, which was the very last chance to get a Switch 2 before the pricehike. But if I'm not mistaken, the price increase in the UK and Europe are the smallest when compared to other markets, so the negative impact may not be nearly as bad as it was in Japan.

Yeah the increase was smallest over here which is why I don't think the last week of August being included changes things that much since it was still up 70% compared to the previous few week tracking period. The impact on the US should be at least a tad higher compared to Europe.
