Time to renew this thread, and poll. Now that GTA 6 is coming next month, and some 2/3 of the year out, have you changed your mind on that? Since Switch 1 is older system, it may not get such a big boost over the holidays, and Series needs to close a gap of only ~460k. It's sales are not so good either, but because of GTA and age of the systems, Xbox may have bigger edge this holiday than the last one, but will it be enough to close the gap? I've also added weekly comparison table in the OG post. Here are the results from the previous poll, from the start of the year:

I believe that the Switch 1 will have a very good holliday on Europe due to the price drop and phasing out, unless it runs out of stock. I don't think Xbox is going to sell much due to GTA due to the price and performance, a Series X is too expensive and a Series S is too weak compared to a 600$ PS5 Digital.

Depends on how good the deals are for Switch 1. Seeing as EU stock is being cleared ahead of the March discontinuation (as seen by MK8DX+NS1 bundle selling for so cheap), it’ll be close. It really bools down to how much GTA VI is a system seller which, if current sales figures are any indicator, leads me to believe that NS1 should win this. But again, I’m not planting my flag on that hill.

Switch 1 wins here, I think. GTA will sell more on PS5 than Xbox so I don't foresee a significant Xbox sales bump. Plus the remaining EU stock will be pushed.

Switch. it's getting discontinued in Europe and I think most people buying a new Xbox Series X/S for GTA VI already have one. Xbox is getting really expensive. Switch may be really outdated but has more of an appeal.
