Haha true. It's a very new forum though and a lot of retro-threads wind up getting posted in other parts of the forums. Also, I'm not sure how many people on this site are even into retro-gaming beyond spending 5 minutes fiddling around with an emulator. 

The problem with not posting updates to a post is still there .. I just experience it now, and I am trying 5 times to do update on one of my posts, and can't .. it's only refreshing, and sending me to the editing page again, however without the edits I just made... (which were numbers only)

I've had a problem like this for a few times today when creating new posts: I open Rich Text Reply, type my post, post it... and it just refreshes the Rich Text Reply, destroys my post, and doesn't really post anything. First it happened here, without any images or anything, I think:

Then it happened here - twice, both times with a 1080p image attached from my PC, and I finally managed to post once I removed the image:

Sorry this is still an issue. I've passed this along to the staff chat. Bandorr has looked into it, but hasn't been able to figure it out. 

No need to apologize, you're doing your best. And to clarify, I don't think I've ever had the issue before on my part. If I get the issue again and can get it to reproduce as well, I might look into my browser dev tools to see if there's more information there.

Anymore information could be helpful to figure it out. Whatever the cause the issue tends to fix itself within 30 minutes.

We have a working theory as to the cause of the issues with the site. Talked with our sysadmin and he says the site is getting scraped by bots. We are getting hundreds of requests per second, maybe tens of thousands per minute. That is causing the database to not keep up.

Is this normal, or some bug of the site ? For years those grid lines were light grey, and they didn't got in the way. Now it's so ugly and frustrating .. 

That is a 3rd party plug-in, so nothing we've done. Hopefully just a bug with the plug-in and it gets fixed.
