That's a surprising bump for the PS5, anybody know of what could be behind it?

PS5 was on sale. Discounted by up to ¥10,000 off. That is around $68 USD off.

Edit: I should have scrolled down further as I see someone else already mentioned this.

Is switch 2 with limited stock still ? for three weeks it's hovering around 40k, will that be it's baseline ?

The Disc slim PS5 was discounted 7K yen and the Digital Slim 10K yen, the system is price sensitive that's why the increase.

But it will end between the PS3 and PS4.

I am really curious if this sudden Switch 1 increase is happening worldwide or is just a Japan thing. Also the PS5 jumping to over 30k cause of a discount makes the fact that some people think the price increase it got last year isn't the biggest reason its sales have tanked since then even funnier.

Demon Slayer on Switch got a restock it seems; up 411%, and now over 100k physical.

Shame to see Daemon x Machina not looking so hot. Niche genre plus mixed reception didn't do it any favours.
Steep drop for MGS as well.

Overall a good week for hardware, not so much for software.
