I still think PS5 will outsell PS4 lifetime simply by lasting longer.
I'd be surprised if PS6 arrives before 2028, and if the PS5 Pro is any indication, it might be so expensive that PS5 lives on for years after that as a more affordable alternative.

There's also that the PS5 is likely still gonna be getting some notable games by 2035 since the PS4 is still gonna get at least a handful next year and the next cross-gen period is surely gonna be even longer than this one. There probably won't be a huge world event that has a massive impact on manufacturing the year the console comes out this time so I can see Sony keeping a bit of manufacturing capacity around for the PS5 for a while.

Switch is up more than 40% from last months in the Americas; seems Echoes of Wisdom and the gold Switch Lite did have an impact.

Xbox down to nearly half PS5 in a region they where they were once #1 is just sad.

Really strong numbers for Switch this (or rather last) month; nearly 80% of PS5 despite being so much older.

Nice to see all three systems up month over month, though YOY paints a much less rosy picture; Xbox in particular being down over 55% is dismal, though 39% down for PS5 ain't so hot either.

The LE Niche-Man 2 launched in September 2023 did some great numbers for the system, it was expected to have declines YoY.

October 2024 might be flat or a bit Up considering all the temporary price cuts that the system had WW (excluding Japan).

when are the fiscal quarter reports coming out by the way ?
