Oh please .. Sony was bleeding money for almost all of the PS3 generation .. They are playing p***y now compare to what they were once. This whole generation is such a joke .. Nintendo is the only manufacturer left that is close enough to a traditional console generation. The whole console gaming is cratering. I don't see bright future if those bullshits continue for the foreseeable future. First tariffs, then ram and SSDs, or it's all more like company's greed ? I would bet the latter. |
Peopling blaming it all on tariffs and ram really dont understand the power that making an extra dollar has over corporate greed. Lets be honest, Sony has amazing PS5 numbers every month world wide. If they can make an average of an extra $100 per system sold (world wide mind you) they will do it. Its 18.2 to 20%, thats massive when you are pulling in 200k+ units a week sold world wide.
blaming it on tarrifs and ram is turning a blind eye to the real reason, Greed, Sony knows xbox has already tapped out this Gen, and honestly, NS1/NS2 doesnt really compete against their system. Sony has total control and can do what they want, and they want to squeeze more money out of anyone who wants to get into PS gaming this gen.
Edit: If all tariffs dropped today, and price of ram went back to what it was 2 years ago, does anyone actually believe Sony would anounce a 20% price cut on the PS5 tomorrow???
