Trunks, I totally understand that the best way to give us updates is through Circana, Famitsu and other official releases. But sometimes I think it's a bit tough to have to wait around a full month for sales numbers. I remember the old days with estimates and then a correction as the official numbers arrive. It would be cool to have something like that again.

Then, again, I fully understand that the official numbers are the best way to update the site. It's just that a weekly update for example could probably turn this place more active. Just a suggestion.

There were 2 reasons I decided to switch to posting the estimates monthly and waiting until after Circana, Famitsu, etc released. 1. The initial estimates would be more accurate and 2. I was dealing with burnout having to post the estimates every week then having to adjust it once more data came in.

I'll have Japan estimates for August up later this week then I will wait for Circana to do the rest of the estimates, which doesn't release until October 8. September Circana is scheduled to release just 2 weeks later on October 22. So there will be a lot of estimates coming out in October.

Edit: Fixed a typo where I said July instead of August, and August instead of September.

Not only a month, but sometimes month and a half after the month that the sales will be has passed. This is ridiculous. In such cases where we have to wait till the mid of the second month after the month we will get sales for, we should have data earlier. I fully agree with Alex.

@trunkswd You meant estimates for August right ? The July are already on the front page. And September Circana for October 22 instead of August one ?

Yes it is a bit of a wait. But I'd rather have accurate estimates posted. At best I could maybe do, if Machina is fine with it as he helps me with the estimates, is to post Europe estimates for August then adjust once Circana drops.
