Around the Network

If PS5 is struggling now against the 8 year old soon to be replaced Switch 1, how will it fare when Switch 2 is on the market in Japan?

Seems no chance that PS5 will match PS4 lifetime sales in Japan, meaning that the PS is set to continue declining every new PS generation since PS2 in Japan.

If PS5 doesn't pick up it's sales, it will be hard to reach even 8M.

My primary threads:

Ultimate Showdowns: JP 2023 / JP 2024 / JP 2025 / 2025 / 2024 / 2023 / 20222021

Lifetime Showdowns: Global / Regional / Historical / YOY Charts / 150M+ Club Chart

Best holiday months / When will the Switch pass 160M? / LT expectations of: Switch / PS5 / XBSX / Switch 2

Have Microsoft finally fully decided to abandon the Japanese market? Seems they no longer even ship consoles there.

Switch 2 already asserting its dominance lol

We reap what we sow

The new baseline for Switch weekly sales seems to be 25k.  For some reason PS5 and XBox sales keep dropping.

What a terrible week of the software front! 7.2k is the top selling title! I know Spring is a quiet time but that's very low.

Signature goes here!

May will be a terrible month when it comes to Famitsu charts, sales will continue to go even lower until Switch 2 comes out.
