Xbox Series held up pretty well this month in the US. Perhaps Americans really will prevent sales of it from completely dying before its successor releases.

Yeah, this is the saving grace for the Xbox now .. in Europe is doing less than 10k per week most of the time, and Japan, well .. it's dead. I don't know why and how, but the last 2 months are declining every week with the sales going back to XB1 levels there at sales under 1k, and lately barely passing 100 units. If US sales are let's say 2M this year, 2.5M will be the final total which seems way too low. 3M should be reachable at least. Maybe it will have good boost over the holidays like last year (well good compared to the weekly sales of course).

My primary threads:

Ultimate Showdowns: JP 2023 / JP 2024 / JP 2025 / 2025 / 2024 / 2023 / 20222021

Lifetime Showdowns: Global / Regional / Historical / YOY Charts / 150M+ Club Chart

Best holiday months / When will the Switch pass 160M? / LT expectations of: Switch / PS5 / XBSX / Switch 2

Actually checking again the drop in units YoY is bigger then last month so the dollar sales part threw me off. The US is still the only major place where Xbox is still relevant though and if GTA 6 makes it I think it ending up between 3.5m and 4m for the year is likely.

I was correct that the Xbox would come in second place again. Nintendo Switch sales have fallen off a cliff. We should expect this for two more months and then... A New Challenger Appraches!
