Switch now less than 3M behind the DS in Japan. Unless the Switch crashes down next year like the DS did in 2011, I don't see how the Switch will not win this one.

And outside of Japan, the DS is now losing ground very quickly, too. But here the advantage of the DS is much larger, it will be much tougher for the Switch to catch up again... though it's cerainly not impossible to do so, espcially if it still sells well after the release of it's successor.
