Best is an opinion so we can't compare, there. Wanna list exclusives and see who has more diversity?

You should probably add Vita's actual first week and not just the sales from the week early deal they had. The actual launch week in US had 140,520. The 66,585 is an early special. So realistically Vita's first week in the US should be 207,105

They continued losing money till about 2010 I think so it hasn't really paid off for Sony.  Fair enough that as a consumer you're happy as they've treated their customers well but kow's point that they'll not make any money on the PS3 is a fair point too.

Best exclusives is of course subjective so if that's your opinion then fair enough but they aren't more diverse, a look at XBLA alone puts that theory to bed, plus the top 20 charts for both consoles are full of similar games.
