That's true. But paid off the in the long run. Look we are at the end of the then gen and Ps3 is doing by far the best and has by far the best and most diverse exclusives.

They continued losing money till about 2010 I think so it hasn't really paid off for Sony.  Fair enough that as a consumer you're happy as they've treated their customers well but kow's point that they'll not make any money on the PS3 is a fair point too.

Best exclusives is of course subjective so if that's your opinion then fair enough but they aren't more diverse, a look at XBLA alone puts that theory to bed, plus the top 20 charts for both consoles are full of similar games.
