I am from the two people that voted 40-60M, not over 60M. But I will give you my insight about that.

I am optimistic about the Xbox future, and I think with the changes in Microsoft and the Xbox division, Microsoft will take the console war a little more seriously next gen, and in result it will do more reasonable decisions regarding this. I know that their latest actions are a big poop, however as I said I am optimistic. I don't think they are so stupid, to destroy in such ugly way the Xbox brand (although they almost did) and they will care a little more going forward, especially now that they have seen the results of their actions in the last few years. Because of that I think there will be also affordable option for the players, and when all is said and done, they will succeed in gaining a little more market share than the current gen, resulting in sales between 40 and 60M. I know the chances are not big about this, but still, it's not impossible too. And looking it really, it's not such a big ask for a console to sell between 40 and 60M lifetime. So they have to screw big time to not achieve this. I don't think there will be price increases such as this generation (which really stopped the Series from reaching 40M).
