Ultimate Consoles Showdown 2026: January

Data and charts have been updated with weeks 1, 2, 3 and 4 for every comparison! Charts were updated.

• Switch 2 is behind both the DS 2006 and the Switch 2018.
• Switch 1 is slightly behind the 3DS 2019 year which finished at 1.5M (I removed the DS from this comparison, as it's clearly not needed).
• PS5 is behind both of its competitors in the face of Wii 2007 and PS3 2012.
• The Xbox Series is behind both Vita 2015 and Wii U 2016.

All around January has been very weak month this year.
