Switch beating the PS5 in 2021 and 2022 in Europe was a fluke. Switch results for it's age were very good. But PS5 sales were just very weak because of the supply issues. Want prove ? See PS4. PS4 first and second full years on the market were 6.3M and 7M respectively for 2014 and 2015 in Europe. PS5 would almost surely sell at least 2M more than what it sold in 2021 and 2022 (4.7M and 3.4M, which would be at least 6.7M and 5.4M, enough to surpass the Switch numbers for these years).
