I think it was Sonys second weakest console after the PS1 but to say that is a bit off cause mine could play PS1 games. I think everything dipped at the launch of PS3 and got back on track fairly quick and only now are we starting to see the crest of the wave, or at least for the last two or three years. I believe now is the worst time for Sony, just making so much worse decisions than even then and since they have no rival now we'll not get an upward ticket like with mid ps3. They'll do themselves into the ground cause Nintendo isn't direct competition and PC only a little so. 

Forgive me for being triggered but did you honestly say you think the ps1 is the weakest console( as in you didnt like it)

We have been spoiled now by SSDs. But even still, 360, PS3, and Wii U OS are so much clunkier than PS4's OS.

PS3 (especially the early phat models with PS2 support) is such a multimedia juggernaut held back (even once you got into the 2010s) by a sluggish OS. 

I would not lump Wii U with 360 and PS3. 360 and PS3 OS isn't really slow at all. Wii U tho takes forever to go to the home screen from a game. Wii U OS is slow in any era. It's the reason Switch OS is so barren. It's snappy and removed the fat.

PS3's OS is quite slow when connected to the internet and playing a game. It was fine/smooth offline from what I recall.

If you mean exclusives from sony? Then your right.

If you ment overall then my ps3 vs ps4 collection says it.

PS3 vs PS4 was close overall, though I personally lean just slightly in PS3's favour as I thought that gen brought more great new IPs to the table like Bioshock, Mass Effect, Uncharted, Vanquish, Dead Space, Motorstorm, Resistance, Puppeteer, Enslaved, Binary Domain, Bulletstorm, etc.

But it lost the japanese games that massivly supported the ps4 + rise of indies.

In no way possible does the ps3 have more games,its not even close.
