We've almost always had the opportunity to voice ourselves (in the West), it just took more effort and willingness to deal with worse consequences back then. We'd have to physically and verbally organize and then go to the town square, over and over, to grow the movement. Then, eventually negotiate afterwards. All the while having to deal with the Gov and it authorities trying to quash it, sometimes violently. This all took a long time compared to today. It's much quicker and easier today, but at it's core it's the same.

Live and let live certainly works, it just takes time. Sometimes a really really long time. The Gov and the law can help speed that up, but you have to be very careful with how quickly and strictly you implement your solutions. That's if those solutions are well thought out and will actually work, which isn't always the case.

Some still don't seem to understand that this is a major reason as to why Trump and MAGA have become a thing. Push too hard and too fast, especially if what you're pushing wasn't well thought out, and you're going to get some type of resistance and backlash. Best case you get something like MAGA. Worst case you get something like NAZI.

It's also important to understand this doesn't apply to all systems in all Countries. Some systems need to be changed to be able to implement worthy progress, and without that change, it's never going to happen. I'm not going to get into how you make that change, in which there's many different ways to do so, because it's a whole nother topic, but I will say that live and let live very rarely can make necessary change to the system as a whole. Without the right system to begin with, live and let live doesn't really work.

The last thing I'll ask is a question, and that is, does every Country, culture, peoples, etc, want a system that operates in a live and let live fashion?

The marginalized do have the ability to start a business. it's just far far more difficult for them to start and to succeed. The underdog story exists because of this and most people love it. You can argue how "fair" this is, or how "unfair" its become, but it's something that can be done. Not everything has to be done by a single individual either. Sometimes it takes a village. A question to ask here is how easy should it be, and how easy is too easy? Should everyone be able to start and run a successful business if they so wish. Every, single, person?

Pointing fingers does work, if done so reasonably and rationally. If either side is playing games and is simply trying to better themselves or their side, then it doesn't work. If both individuals or sides are actually trying to better the system as a whole, it will work. Most of the time people or groups are playing games unfortunately.

I believe Trump and Net think their actions will speed up the process and change in Iran. Whether it will or not is yet to be seen, but usually this type of military push by America typically doesn't work out as planned. I'm unsure of whether it will actually work or not, simply because of Trump and how he operates. He keeps some things close to the chest and handles things quite differently than typical politicians overall, so whether or not he can pull this off seems possible this time around, though I wouldn't bet on it.

I agree that the mindset of "this is the way I am so it's the way you should be," doesn't work. "This is the way you should be because...(proper explanation of why it's right foundationally and how it makes everything better overall)" does work. A big reason why so many don't get this is not only because of groupthink, but because those groups live in bubbles and have little to no idea how other groups think and operate. How can you properly communicate with them if you don't understand their 'language'.

I also mostly agree about the elites and their goals of destroying the middle class. I don't necessarily agree with Trump and MAGA being part of that. Throwing the world into the more unstable manner Trump has, with the main goal seemingly to be to get middle class jobs to either return to America, or be created by Americans again in America, seems to go against the elites plans. That's not to say it isn't a smoke screen and has extremely negative underlying manipulative consequences, but I don't think middle class Americans have much of a choice at this point but to take a chance and hope.

This Reminds me of a conversation I once had years ago with a Chinese Citizen. We were discussing the different way of living in my country (The Netherlands) vs. his.

He agreed that the Chinese one party system isn't very democratic, authoritarian even. But his argument is having such a large population, lots of it in mega cities, it needed it, because else it would become a big mess. The fear of society getting out of control, makes most people in China accept the system. A very different perspective on what is the best/least bad system.

Circumstances often lead what kind of system emerges eventually. It's tricky to look to the world with 'Western eyes' and see anything that is different as being backwards.

Many systems can lead to decent if not great outcomes overall, but they can also lead to poor if not devastating outcomes. It mostly depends on who's in charge at the time. Some systems easily allow poor leadership to do as it pleases, where other systems do what they can to keep those poor leaders in check.

All systems will always have their problems because they're made by people. The same people who want to follow those rules and guidelines, or do everything they can to avoid or get around them.
