They're from Africa. An entirely different continent. An entirely different culture. An entirely different type of peoples. Do they not have the right to operate as they wish to?

Take the religious baker and the gay wed couple in America. Both had rights but the rights conflicted. So how do you solve it? The answer is let the system solve it naturally itself. If the business doesn't want to cater to you, go to another that will. If you think that's wrong and want to push for change, challenge the business in a more natural way, like socially. Perhaps start your own business and compete. Run it yourself or find the right people and invest in them.

Maybe the majority agree with you and those type of businesses suffer because of it, or maybe things stay the same. Maybe those business don't care and suffer, or go bankrupt, or eventually change to the masses liking.

The point is live and let live works very well. It just takes time. Which people today irrationally find unacceptable and inexcusable.

Now, we have the option of protesting and voicing ourselves over media.  Books, YT, scholarship, people making talking points over various forms of discrimination, etc.

This sounds kind of like what SvennoJ was saying, but for perhaps different reasons.  You seem to want a slower paced solution by this live and let live approach.  He would sympathize but disliked coming down on certain groups (like american blacks) if they've been discriminated against in the past.  Liberalism turns into something that can forgive various groups of their wrongdoings.

I agree being different nations, Africans have the right to deal with their issues as they see fit

As for your solution: This definitely doesn't work

There is a reason why black Americans are a different ethnicity compared to white Americans. The results are racial tensions and structural problems related to violence and crime and an importance to race so ingrained on US social fabric that is very hard to change

Most countries that needed to make different ethnicities work together to create a sense of national identity did the other way around: They made interaction mandatory and discrimination a crime. Brazil did this, Indonesia did this, Russia did this, China is doing this

The idea is you don't want people inside your own country seeing each other as rivals or enemies, this leads to further conflicts

I find hilarious you think this bullshit works. Works for who? Not for the people who are having limited rights and being treated as second class citzens, this I can confirm

I answer: It works to preserve the rights and social standing of people who already has higher social standing. This is by design

We've almost always had the opportunity to voice ourselves (in the West), it just took more effort and willingness to deal with worse consequences back then. We'd have to physically and verbally organize and then go to the town square, over and over, to grow the movement. Then, eventually negotiate afterwards. All the while having to deal with the Gov and it authorities trying to quash it, sometimes violently. This all took a long time compared to today. It's much quicker and easier today, but at it's core it's the same.

Live and let live certainly works, it just takes time. Sometimes a really really long time. The Gov and the law can help speed that up, but you have to be very careful with how quickly and strictly you implement your solutions. That's if those solutions are well thought out and will actually work, which isn't always the case.

Some still don't seem to understand that this is a major reason as to why Trump and MAGA have become a thing. Push too hard and too fast, especially if what you're pushing wasn't well thought out, and you're going to get some type of resistance and backlash. Best case you get something like MAGA. Worst case you get something like NAZI.

It's also important to understand this doesn't apply to all systems in all Countries. Some systems need to be changed to be able to implement worthy progress, and without that change, it's never going to happen. I'm not going to get into how you make that change, in which there's many different ways to do so, because it's a whole nother topic, but I will say that live and let live very rarely can make necessary change to the system as a whole. Without the right system to begin with, live and let live doesn't really work.

The last thing I'll ask is a question, and that is, does every Country, culture, peoples, etc, want a system that operates in a live and let live fashion?
