i literally have no idea. NSW2 is not a cheap product and the consumer purchasing power gets weaker every day. Unless Nintendo is planning to lower prices later during the gen (lol), I can only guess >100mil. Hard to get any more precise. (But just for the fun of it, I’ll throw out a number: 120-130mil.)

edit: seems i already posted this two months ago lol. My opinion has wavered a little bit in that I’m not so much thinking it’ll break the 160mil ceiling, but I do see it being a nice success.

Here's a snapshot of how we've voted so far:

In the pre-April Direct poll:

• 3% voted below 75M
• 18% voted 75-100M
• 64% voted in the 100-150M range.
• 15% voted for over 150M

In the post-April Direct poll:

• Below 75M vote increased from 3% to 11% (+272%)
• 75-100M vote decreased from 18% to 11% (-62%)
• 100-150M vote stayed nearly flat: 64% to 63% (-2%)
• 150M+ vote also stayed nearly flat: both ~15% (-0.7%)

From pre- to post-April Direct, the percentage of people voting 100-150M and 150M+ hardly changed. It seems the largest shift was people in the 75-100M range dropping down to <75M after the Direct.
