XBSX reached 3.1M with it's November sales from US and EU combined, while Switch reached the same numbers with it's December data added. Still impressive!

Going over my redo predictions I had Switch reaching 3.19M, PS5 reaching 1.55M, and Xbox Series reaching 132k. I’ve come to understand that my predictions were rather high as I expected the Japanese market to be higher (though I don’t have a reason why).

Switch was ~78k below my prediction and is actually rather close.

PS5 was ~100k below my predictions, close but still a bit off.

Xbox Series was ~14.2k below my predictions, very close very considerably off given Xbox sold up to 117k.

What a solid year 2024 was for the Switch. A considerable drop for the PS5 and the Xbox Series.

2025 will be very interesting considering the entrance of the Switch 2, and GTA VI, and the possibility of Microsoft backing out from the console hardware market.

Switch 2024 won against DS 2010, thats heavy! Series vs One was a photo finish. PS4 vs PS5: PS4 kept the lead...

All comparisons are finished, completed and all the data was adjusted according to VGChartz numbers for Japan. All the charts have been adjusted and updated. The thread is now fully completed.
