Only 14-15mil in 2026? If GTAVI drops in May 2026 (which TBH is doubtful), then I could see 18-20mil easily. I expect this to be no smaller than the boost Pokémon gave GameBoy during the late-90s.

Also, funny coincidence I just noticed: Zelda TotK released during 6th Spring of NSW and gave it a massive short-term boost in sales. Now, GTAVI is releasing during the 6th Spring of PS5 and will give it a massive short-term boost in sales. (And even more funny is that both were revealed during each system’s third year.)

If it weren't for the GTA VI in 2026, I would say 12-13M, because of GTA VI, I say 14-15M. I am not sure exactly how big the boost will be. Nintendo aren't comparable here, since through the years Nintendo systems have always had a way bigger boost from software titles, than Sony ones. The boost with GTA VI may be bigger of course, we will see. Also I don't think May is the final release month, I expect they will delay it once more till September/October or November.
