So, apparently Adam Pearce just booked ishowspeed or w/e in a match at Mania? Apparently if you go to a WWE Arena you are subject to the jurisdiction of the GM and you must wrestle at any point in the future they ask XD. This is the good kind of stupid, but still stupid.

Man, I haven't felt this apathetic and disappointed going into WrestleMania since 2020 when the pandemic started.

Outside of Roman/Punk, Brock/Oba, and to a lesser degree, AJ/Becky, the build to this WrestleMania has been the drizzling shits.

Yeah. I think the card is ok on paper. I expect most of the matches to be enjoyable. But, I'm just not super emotionally invested in any of them. 

Aside from the downright dumb build, the problem with having the guys they have main eventing these shows is that they're already so established that I'm not really invested in who's going to win. I like Punk but if he loses the title, is it really going to matter to his status? Is Randy Orton winning the title for a 15th time really a big deal? For that matter, as much as I like Rhea, does her beating Jade mean anything? 

It's not really surprising that Oba Femi vs Brock seems to be the match people are excited for, because it actually feels like it means something if Brock loses, or if Oba wins. It will genuinely change their career trajectories. 

The rest of the matches... meh. Some of them, if not most of them, will be fine matches, and I'm fairly sure I'll be entertained for a few hours. But I don't feel like I really need to see the outcomes, and caring about the outcomes is the key that makes the whole thing worthwhile.

Edit: After seeing smackdown... geez.

I started rewatching all of WWF/WWE recently from 1997 onwards (I plan to do it till 2010 - until WWE was good imo). The old WWF/WWE is so fun .. the new one can't compare to that attitude era, and even ruthless agression era too. And in crispy full HD, it's a blast. So much good moments.

I was doing that. Mainly when i was on the treadmill in the gym. But they took all yhe ppvs off peacock :(
