It is common knowledge for many that there will be people doubting it cuz there are fans who want PS2 to win so badly they are ready to defend it even with some theoretical range. The world cares what they say, the problem is Sony is not saying anything, therefore people should say something. And they say different things. My post was targeting those who will doubt the Switch's 1st place until it reaches 162M, or 161.9M if you want to go by the hair. I am not dishonest too, do you forget that you already apologize to me for that too?

When I was talking about people moving the goalpost, I wasn't talking about XtremeBG. I know he's just bringing up this range that people calculated for total units of PS2 for the matter of discussion. I don't get mad at the messager, I get mad at the message, it being the range information. Well, in fact, I get mad at those people who say that if the Switch don't cross the 161.8M barrier, it won't be de most sold console. Conviently to these people, it's ok to assume that the PS2 got the best case scenario, the extreme positve side of the range, not the lowest number of the range. That's why I, provocatively, said that 155,000,001 PS2 sold thing. If they can use convinience in their favor, I will use too

The truth is, Sony needs to go out and say exact number of the sold/shipped units, and be finished with it. That would be something in between 160-160.6M range. Also there is no point into explaining whatever to him .. he knows one and the same. "dishonesty" "real intentions" "bending backwards and forth" and stuff like this, so that it's easier to put labels on people that just have different point of view for his console of choice. If Switch ends up short of PS2 in the end, he probably won't be able to sleep anymore..

You have provided nothing but imaginary people. You just claimed Sony has said nothing which is also not true because Sony said over 160 million and Shawn Layden confirmed the 160.6 million.

The truth is Sony confirmed 155,1 million shipped as of march 2012. That should have been sometime in may 2012 when their earnings report came. In fact some short time ago they changed that number to "over 160 million sold" at the same date march 2012! And thats not believable. Only Fanboys believe that. If i had a car company and 2012 i reported to my investors that i shipped lets say 30.000 Mercedes Benz to carstores but 13 years later i "announce" in a random twitterpodcast "hey hey actually it where 45.000 cars". That would confirm that i did not report 15.000 cars. A shareholder/ tax agencies would think maybe i sold them on the black market, the dark net (you really fund a lot of stuff there!!), or to the Yakuza/ south american drug cartels or somewhere else... There is no bill for that so its not mentioned in my earnings report. There would be an investigation because with this "announcement" i would admid having lied before.
I doubt Sony would do that. So its just hurt pride that they soon MAYBE won't be Nr.1 again... And thats unprofessional. Like i said numerous times in the Competition treat: Sony IS in DIRECT competition with Nintendo otherwise they would not spit around such lies.

Sony has nothing in terms of exact number. We have the range of 160-160.6M which I already said before. It's not imaginary people, I won't go and search just for you, I've already done that for post which you say you didn't saw. Again, the problem you don't want to believe, or act like there is no such people is fully yours. Believe whatever you want. No, the thread in theory needs no more of any of the things that have been pushed. The title of the OP is 

"The Road to 160m+ for Nintendo Switch"

Meaning, what has to happen so Switch gets to 160kk lifetime sales. Every other things regarding Sony is pretty much extra, so it is not directly related to the discussion, as interesting as it may seem to talk about a race to "best sold console of all time".

I know we no longer have access to the original post because of the hack but if I recall correctly that goal was chosen because of the PS2. 160 million would be a very random goal, so it's certainly not out of the realm of possibility to believe it (the goal) was chosen because of the PS2. Certain posters are now moving the goalpost because of fear of Switch likely to pull it off. Rol (the OP) from the offset said the Switch wouldn't be replaced until I believe this year lol.
