Don’t think there’s any chance of 160M+ at this point, but I think it will get over 150M eventually. Really depends a lot on when they launch the successor and how they handle the OG Switch at that point.

I vote 150-160m. I think it can sell another 30m in the next 3 years which put it at around 150m lifetime

I'm not sure anymore. It definitely won't beat the PS2, but I can't say for sure what numbers it can reach.

A lot of future Switch sales will depend on when Nintendo plans to release the successor.

And 140-145 million after 2023 holidays?

Then 160 million in early 2025

My new prediction is 152M, just slightly short of the PS2 & DS. Mainly because I don't think Nintendo's ever gonna price cut the Switch and that the Switch 2's BC will take away sales from Switch

151 million or so. Switch would need the perfect storm to outsell PS2.
-Switch 2 not launching until at least March 2025 (Q3/Q4 2024 is looking very likely after recent dev kit rumors).
-Price cuts at a strategic time and significant enough price cuts.
-Slower rate of adoption for Switch 2 because of mistakes made by Nintendo (gimmicks, lack of titles people want, etc.)
