I'm not surprised.

As time passes, FPS won't be getting any better.....unless graphics are dumbed down.

Just beacuse it can run 1080p doesn't mean every single game will have it

hell games on Ps3/360 doesn't run games in 1080p just 576/720p with a few exceptions

 

and it does make it easier to "port" games aswell



If it isn't turnbased it isn't worth playing   (mostly)

360 can't do native 1080p.. ps3 is the only current gen console that was designed for native 1080p.. 360 does native 1080p but it's a fake version of it..

Not all WiiU games are 720p though, tekken tag 2 apparently goes under 720P.

Tekken's a port. We'll be fine as long as Wii U games down the line do 1080p.

Injesting muffins by eating is actually much more potent and dangerous due to the higher amount consumed and the direct method being used.

As long as the games look good on my HDTV, who cares?

I am 100% satisfied with the graphics of games on X360 and PS3

Much more interseted in having interesting game designs, appealing diverse array of art styles, and engaging AI like what was shown for The Last of Us.

Quite frankly, it's a moot point because almost every Wii U exclusive title shown so far isn't exactly pushing visuals to a new level. Do we really need games like Nintendo Land and NSMBU running at 1080p? If anything, it'll make the simplistic environments even less appealing.

Only game that would benefit from 1080p that I've seen so far is Pikmin 3, but they've already stated that it's going to be running at 60fps, so why sacrifice the silky smooth framerate and animations just to appease a couple of graphics whores?

By the comments in this topic I am understanding that Wii U can only run games on 720p. What I am missing?

Games can be upscaled to higher resolutions, but it's different from "natively" displaying in those resolutions.

Could you explain the dfference please?


Sorry for not going into details, I honestly didn't know them myself. I was trying to just pass on what light information I knew without letting everyone know I was a tech noob. But now I am anyways... >.>

Really? Damn. I was really only basing my rseponse off of friends who've smoked weed vs eaten weed in muffins/brownies. They say that eating them is way more of an intense drug in-take. Whatevs though.
