Can someone explain the massive boost for X360?



Game of the year 2017 so far:

5. Resident Evil VII
4. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe
3. Uncharted: The Lost Legacy
2. Horizon Zero Dawn
1. Super Mario Odyssey

Adjustments shouldn't be a reason for a boost, that's why previous numbers are adjusted for :)

My question would be more accurately, why is the boost much bigger than ps3's one.

Edit: Yup, 360 received a 54% boost in the UK this week. PS3 got a 22% boost. 
360 got a 51% boost in Germany though, while PS3 got only a 28% boost. Italy: 360 - 48% boost, PS3 - 17% boost. Australia&NZ: 360 - 53% boost, PS3 - 13% boost. Other Europe (now this I don't understand at all): 360 - up 50%, PS3 up a mere 5%

Puzzling.

Which GT game? GT5 is selling over GT4 yet .

How much did GT4 sell on it's 49th week? 

Around 20k..., a bit less maybe.

Was that during the Christmas season? Oh and was it priced $39.99 like GT5 is now?

KK after a quick re-check I'm sure it sold less than 20k in its 49th week (more like 15/17k), it came out in the last week of the year 2004 in Japan, so the 49th week was in Dec. 2005.

As for the price? Idk and Idc.

I wonder why it wasn't selling so good. Games always sell good in their first and second Christmas season. Maybe it's just this gen that games have been doing that?

for germany:


we have, or had some sweet bundels here at the moment like xbox 360 250gb+fifa12+forza4 for 220€ (this is very cheap for germany) or bundles with crysis 2+fifa12+xbox live aso.

Yea I agree on that, disappointing sales for a month of December, (it was doing 25/30k WW, still disappointing).

As for this gen making games sell a lot in holidays that's probably true, ads averywhere and good games for most of them, that's enough.

Also, nowadays when people think about a gift for someone, they tend to think more and more of games, maybe.

I just noticed the Weekly increases.

PS3 - 15%
PSP - 15%
PS2 - 22%

Wii - 38%
3DS - 41%
DS - 38%

360 - 43%

Can anyone answer me what caused the massive jumps for non-Sony hardware?

Wii had nothing new release. DS had nothing new release. 3DS had nothing new released. 360 had the same game release as PS3 did, only it sold less.

Lol, good find.  Is it asking too much for more PStriple undertrackz?  That would be incredible, if hard to believe.
