I just noticed the Weekly increases.

PS3 - 15%
PSP - 15%
PS2 - 22%

Wii - 38%
3DS - 41%
DS - 38%

360 - 43%

Can anyone answer me what caused the massive jumps for non-Sony hardware?

Wii had nothing new release. DS had nothing new release. 3DS had nothing new released. 360 had the same game release as PS3 did, only it sold less.

Am I missing anything?

That is quite puzzling.  For the Wii, I could see maybe it's just getting into its normal holiday thing, but the others...?  It's especially weird since I'm pretty sure the PS3 was the only oone that had BF3 bundles this week.  Why would 360 see a larger boost from a game that it isn't bundled with?

for germany:

we have, or had some sweet bundels here at the moment like xbox 360 250gb+fifa12+forza4 for 220€ (this is very cheap for germany) or bundles with crysis 2+fifa12+xbox live aso.

and i know a lot of people who bought a 360 after they read these offers on some sites.

Ah yes, all those "people we know"..

Mediamarkts here are currently selling the PS3 / GT5 bundle for 180€ (=$250, can't get any lower than that). Methinks this would bring higher numbers than any XBox bundle. The numbers probably are just some stealth adjustments for the past weeks...

The PS3 was already doing so good in EMEAA that it didn't get as big of a rise out of the start of the Christmas season?

But really I think it's overtracked. Even for this time of year 1.5 million consoles on shelves is too high IMO.

i know some people who bought 360's after they saw these offers what's so hard to understand there? i don't talk about people of some forums yes they read it on internetsites but they are people i know in real life.

gt5 is a one year old game sure the price is nice but that's not a game people buy a new console for after a year and even if they do it  mediamarkt has the ps3 bundle at the moment right? maybe the sales will rise a lot now as well? maybe this will be in the next emeaa update just not in this update.

wow i didn't say anything against the ps3 i have one and love it but you act like i would try do talk it to the death haha

Could also add that PS3 SW looks undertracked and the DS is once again overtracked.

PS2/PSP continue to be undertracked, but we know the reasons why.
