All you have to do is put what score you think the game below deserves, and write a brief explanation as to why it deserves that score.

Rules

Pros:

Surprisingly challenging.

Great level design.

4 Player Co-op is chaotic fun.

Good length and replay value.

Cons

Uninspired art style.

No online play.

Similar to this, but I don't necessarily agree with the cons, since I found the art style to be decent, and have no resentment of lack of online play. 

However I will state one con, is lack of creating two note worthy characters (I dislike the two toads).

They used Toad Character Model Twice in 4 player. This isn't a big deal. But feels like cutting corners or a poor design decision and it bugs me.
The graphics don't really feel magical. They feel mario gone play. I would have prefered the sprites
Maybe it's just in my head but the jumping feels off when compared to the older ones. Either way it bothered me.

It's a good game. However, there are too many things that kept me from thoroughly enjoying it, even if they were small things it nagged at my brain while I was playing it.

I can't find anything bad about this game. It's exactly how  I like my platformers.

Pros:

• Stellar level design.
• The Koopalings!
• 4 player fun at its best.
• Great mix of nostalgia and brand new events.
• The final battle.
• Propeller hat and Penguin Suit rock my socks.

Cons:

• Music is alright, but not instant classics like other Mario titles.
• 4 player is fun... but trying to complete a level with all four players in tow is a bit too difficult.
• Graphics aren't exactly top of the line.
• Yellow Toad and Blue Toad?

Overall: The game is what I love about 2D Mario, while brining multiplayer fun to the table. The level design is fantastic, and really makes up for most of the game's other shortcomings.

It is really good, but nowhere near the game that DKC Returns is.
