I thought Nightmare Creatures had a cool vibe to it. I had never played it until last year and man, was it rough. And this is coming from a serious retro gamer. But as I said, it's really great at setting a mood and for that, I still got enjoyment out of it.

The Conduit games on Wii were very mid, but I have nostalgia for them due to them coming out during my Uni years, they're technically interesting as some of the most graphically ambitious Wii games, and the pointer controls were top notch.

When you think of high speed arcade racers you tend to think of games like F-Zero and Wipeout. But the one that really grabbed my attention as a kid was one of the lower rated games in a lesser known series, Extreme-G Racing Association. It just had the cool factor for me and a bangin soundtrack.
