Are these the first sales figures we've ever gotten for Starfield?

Seeing Pokémon Leaf Green and Fire Red stay in top 10 all these weeks is funny lol. Two GBA ports released nearly two-and-a-half decades ago... maybe this'll be a wake up call for Nintendo to start releasing titles through VC again. Even if I prefer to have access via the NSOnline subscription. (You own those VC titles about as much as you own those NSO titles if Wii/3DS/Wii U VC is any indicator.)

At least seems like a no brainer for the Pokemon company to eventually port all their older mainline titles to Switch/Switch 2, easy catalogue sales forever.

Makes me think: would they make it like a Virtual Boy scenario where they would sell an add-on for the Switch 2 to play DS games (possibly 3DS games) through NSO (like a screen you attach to the the top)? And if that were the case would they sell Heart Gold and Soul Silver that require that add-on to play?

Switch simply doesn't stop

Like I said before about Switch 1:

Ol’ Man River just keeps on going along.

The Switch 2 had its lowest weak of the year yet but it should do better next week while the Switch Lite shooting up to 10k again brings the Switch back above 20k again. I expect the former to mostly benefit from a Tomodachi Life boost but the Lite could help the latter a tad. Also the PS5 drops under 10k again and might stay there for a while now thanks to the regular PS5 and Pro tanking. Without the cheap digital model we'd for sure be looking at a baseline below 5k and potentially below 4k going forward so good thing that exists.

It's been said many times already, but remarkably strong week for Switch 1 as this is now it's 10th (!) year on the market.

PS5's first full week post price hike is as dire as you'd expect. Only the Japan-only Digital is keeping them from being completely irrelevant.

My guess as to the (relatively speaking) lower NS2 sales is likely because NS1 is sucking up some of NS2’s market, being that the next big new Nintendo release is a Switch 1 title. It’ll be very interesting to see how NS1 & NS2 sales figures will be impacted by a game as massive (in JP) as Tomodachi Life.

Holy hell, the Switch 2 version of RE9 outsold the PS5 version this week?!?

Interesting.

Switch 2 is doing well, but I hope Tomodachi helps it rebound a bit next week.

Bet with Teeqoz for 2 weeks of avatar and sig control that Super Mario Odyssey would ship more than 7m on its first 2 months. The game shipped 9.07m, so I won
