For once, I was ready well in advance, so let the show... BEGIN!

I feel like you're the only one who's ready in time, lol.

I just finished my list last night, but haven't started working on my graphics yet. Like last year, I don't have many new entries, and it's more of a top 40 with the 41-50 games being more about how they impacted my life rather than how much I still enjoy them. In that sense they're like an "intro" to the real list, and as such, I might as well just hint them all in one go to get us started:

#50 - One of the most notable additions of this sequel was adding a second character for the younger sibling to feel like they were doing something.
#49 - This game turned 10 years old this year and is still the latest entry in this massive series.
#48 - Crows doing paperwork in a monochrome dimension that serves as this game's hub world.
#47 - The game that gave us a very sexualized design of this series' main character.
#46 - The game that pretty much everyone has played.
#45 - Proof that spreadsheets and mundane busywork is a lot more fun when it's sports-related.
#44 - "Break on through to the other side" - The other side, apparently, was this genre's death.
#43 - This sidescroller was much maligned for forcing you to constantly stop, wait, and press X.
#42 - The first entry in a franchise that is soon to get a TV series.
#41 - Proof that people will change their minds even on the things they hate most if there's a good anime about it.

#50: Super Mario galaxy 2?

#49: GTA V?

#48: I've seen this before, but can't put my finger on it...

#47: No idea, too many choices

#46: Again, too many choices. I'll try with Tetris

#45: Fifa Manager?

#44: Arkanoid?

#43: Mischief Makers?

#42: I'm not up to date with videogame TV series, so no idea

#41: League of Legends?

I need to finish checking through my list too to make sure everything's correct. Some new games are definitely making it in this year.

Same. Just double-checked mine recently. Some previous games dropped, a few new and new to me games were added.

"Let go your earthly tether, enter the void, empty and become wind." - Guru Laghima

I'm going to try this hint thing out.

50. A platforming series's very late jump to 3D.

49. A visual novel where branching paths are a mechanic.

48. A platformer where the toughest obstacle is a knee-high bump.

47. A rhythm sequel based on a rich musical library.

46. The oldest game in my Top 50, the first in a series well-represented.

45. A rail shooter where nobody gets hurt.

44. An action spinoff to an action-adventure juggernaut.

43. The 4th entry in a 4X series.

42. Early 2010's open world in an urban setting... no, not that one.

41. An RPG that was overlooked at release and has since become renowned.

42 and 41 are correct.

47 is the right series, wrong game.

Mario was sexualized in Odyssey? Now that's a take, lol. Also surprised that two people guessed Tetris on 46. It is similar to Tetris in a way...

50, 49, 45, 44 are right, good work. 42 and 41 are right too but you're late to it

Gonna venture a few guesses

50) Kirby and the Forgotten Land?

46) Hmm, The Legend of Zelda NES?

45) Pokémon Snap?

44) Hyrule Warriors?

41) Many options, Xenoblade Chronicles perhaps?
