I knew my hints were too easy.
50 is wrong but 49 and 48 are correct.

Nothing correctly guessed so far, so let's add hints:
#50: Descent as guessed by Machina.
6 Degrees of Freedom.
Destroy the rebelling robots.
#49: Doom 64 as guessed by S.Peelman.
Not a port, but actually it's own title.
If that number in the title is a version number, than this series would've a *lot* of games.
#48:
Slice with your sharp dice the enemies.
RPG in which you advance the dice of the character classes.
#47: Crusader Kings III as guessed by Machina.
You could describe the game as monarchy simulator.
Third game in this series.
#46:
Other guests at Spiffo's restaurant may actually crave *you* more than a burger.
These are the End-Times.
#45: Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana as guessed by Veknoid_Outcast.
Fill your improvised settlement with other survivors of the shipwreck.
You can always count on your friend that was with you in other games in the series as well to keep the settlement save and working.

This Red Baron?

There are plenty of games with the Red Baron or Red Ace title for WWI flying simulators. My favourite was always Master of the Skies: The Red Ace.

It was quite fun, as simplistic as it was. Shame the game does not work on anything but old hardware.

Doom 64.

#50 - Descent? Great pick if so.
#49 - Super Mario 64 DS?
#47 - Sounds like it could be one of those Paradox strategy series. Victoria 3?

Is #47 Fable III?
Is #45 Ys VIII?
Might as well throw on some extra hints.
49) The title suggests it tells you how to start
Hint 2: Allegedly a collection of unreleased games by a friend of the developer. Strange how well they fit together to form a narrative though...
46) The second title in a series with a very fitting abbreviation
Hint 2: Considering what type of game they've been releasing most of in the last 4 years.
Btw I think I'll keep count of the correct guesses this year to make it a little more interesting. Machina, Peelman and Mnementh have 1 each so far.

Will try to participate in the guessing and discussion a bit more this year.
If anyone want to guess the games on my top 50 list here are the first few games.
#50 Main guy is named Trent, that will probably narrow it down. If not, eat some hot dogs or bananas while I try to come up with another clue.
#49 Released after one of the most popular racing series first title but on a system one generation behind. This third installment also featured weapons to make life miserable for the other racers.
#48 Armed with a camera it is once again time to find strange beings.
#47 One of several iterations based on a comic with the same name this titles life mission seems to be for you to regret your choices.
#46 Developed under difficult conditions this lucky accident of a game topped the bottom of its time.
And so starts my top 50 JRPG list. HINT: all are JRPGs :)
50. This action JRPG was first on the PsP, and adapted to modern consoles much later.
49. This JRPG was actually made possible by sony first party during the Ps2 era.
48. This is the 7th and latest entry in the main tactical JRPG series to release in 2023.
47. In the most famous JRPG series, this is the sequel to the first set of entries.
46. This was a Ps1 game that released at nearly 2.5 years after the Ps2.
