PS5 is getting pretty close to Switch in Japan.
Looks like a solid debut for Fire Emblem!

That's a pretty hefty 33% ish drop for the Switch YoY even with a new release like Fire Emblem. Not really a great start to the year.

FE Engage sells about the sames as FE Three Houses on opening week but with higher digital splits than 4 years ago it should be a bit higher.

The PS5 could end up having a quite respectable year in Japan if this keeps up. If it could average 40k throughout the year it would actually beat the peak year of the PS4. That's probably a tall order though, but if nothing else I think we'll see a significant improvement from last year.

There should be some weeks this year with the PS5 on top if this keeps up. I'm pretty confident the Switch will be under 2017 for this year now though a bit over 3m would still be very good for its age.

Pokemon Scarlet / Violet is still showing good numbers.

Woah weird what is going on with PS5?? Just some hold over from people who couldn't get it during the holiday maybe??
