Partner Showcase refers to games from third parties that aren't good enough to get into a real Direct. But you people never learn and set yourself up for disappointment by throwing around names like Monster Hunter.
I would agree with you, if I still would have any hope of a 'real' Direct this year. I just don't see it. As I see it, the whole Covid-situation has fucked up Nintendos capabilities to produce a proper Direct. Instead they cut together the trailers they get thrown by 3rd-parties and add some connecting voice-over. Given that, I think the possibility of a bigger game is there. Although it also isn't any guarantee.
