I only point out, that he isn't on the left. Actually you both act also pretty similar. Moren names Sandmann, the McCloskys, Andrew Pollack as the more extremist examples and equates them with Republican party generally. You pick violent looters and equate them with the Democratic party. Both of you are so predictable, boring and actually the same. Because politically you are not too far away, maybe you are even closer than Moren is to the progressive left. But both of you are also so caught up in painting the other side as the devil incarnate. That is boring and exhausting, as it actually doesn't do shit to improve anyones lifes.

You both should learn, that 'the enemy' are people too, and they also want the best for themselfes and their families and friends. They only disagree on how to get there. Trump wasn't elected only by a bunch of billionaires, and Hillary Clinton not only by a group of Washington insiders. Both had a lot of 'normal' people voting for them. Because said normal people thought of each their choice, that they would be best to help bring about improvements to their lives.

To be fair, if you agree that those that Moren names are the most extremist examples of the Republican party then the difference is the Republican part is inviting all of them to speak at a national convention. The DNC didn't invite looters from the protests to celebrate their shittiness. Seems more reasonable then to call out the GOP for the characters they decide to put on a pedestal on a national stage.

That is a fair point. I didn't compare the parties though, just Moren and KLXVER, and stated that their behaviour intended to paint the other side in the worst colors is similarly destructive. I still think the democrats as a party are a better choice usually than the republicans.

That said, I am sure the Republican party invited these people to their show, just to elicit the angry reactions Moren displayed, so that in turn they can point to that to make the democrats look bad. Because this isn't a game about improving the lifes of anyone, just to hurt the 'enemy' team as much as possible. Disgusting.

German who doesn't vote, live here, or understand the country is still resentful about the primaries?

How do you even get to see anything resentful here?

Wait, are there people on both sides debating rationally in this forum? What is going on here? Don’t you know it’s evil Nazi Trump vs. Creepy dimentia Biden fighting for all of your souls? Someone post a meme of anti-maskers and Antifa clobbering each other for God’s sake!

Here’s a prediction: Biden and Trump will not debate. Whether or not the dems can get a Harris vs. Pence debate (or even crazier, a Harris vs. Trump debate) remains to be seen.

I only clarified KLXVERs error, he thought you were left.

Besides that I think the progressives have a good framing: "Who do you want to fight for Medicare for All, debt-free student loans, a living wage or the green new deal - Biden or Trump?" Biden may not be the optimal choice for progressive policies, but it is clearly easier to move him than Trump.

I would bet that there is not going to be a debate as Biden will refuse to do it mentioning covid-19 or something. I hope there is one as this is important for the people in the center to make their decisions. Or maybe it will be Harris vs Trump. It's 2020, everything is possible.

Guys, this isn't the first time this has come up, I recognize users I've corrected before on this topic.

https://www.vox.com/21376348/when-is-first-presidential-debate-september-29

The debate is scheduled, there is a venue. Until it's cancelled, there's really no basis to say there won't be one. That's just unnecessarily spreading doubt.

This sounds wonderful and all in spirit, but I'm not sure how this is supposed to apply to Moren who was criticizing unelected conservative media fixture, not any elected GOP official.

Making the choice to apply that hat to your head, is seen as the most recent version of sieg heil, a victory salute, if you think DT is actually comparable to AH. It's even worse apparently, because you have to go get it, pay for it, then apply it, as it remains visible that entire time.

Some people don't have a full enough comprehension of the past to properly compare, some just aren't good at comparing or anticipating period, and some simply just believe whatever they're told without question. People who do have, and understand some of these things, if not all of them, are not the people who go overboard, unless they are purposely being manipulative to deceive.

Friendly reminder: John Kasich and Colin Powell were invited to speak.

You'd think this possibly has something to do with what Tulsi said to Kamala during the primaries, but then again, after hearing what Kamala said to Joe, considering he invited her to be his running mate and she happily agreed, you can't help but wonder.
