Forums - Gaming Discussion - Opinion: Only Sony and Nintendo Have Exclusives, Now

So only Sony and Nintendo got exclusive games now

Yes, that's right. 432 71.76%

Yes but I don't care. 67 11.13%

No. 103 17.11%

Total:602

Don't see the problem and never understood why so many have a problem with it in forums. Most console gamers don't play on PC (except maybe some smaller games like Hearthstone) and many PC gamers don't play on console.

Maybe 10-20% of Xbox players play big games like Gears also on PC. 80%+ have probably no PC or only a small Notebook or something like that.

There are also people who will find it good that they can have their gaming PC in some room and their XBO in their living room and have access to the same games with the same game saves and achievement.

So, MS's decision is maybe affecting 10% of Xbox players negative but for the other 90% of Xbox players, it isn't doing anything to them or it is better for them if that ensures higher game sales and more investments.

This is really not that hard to understand as long as you aren't one of these "I play on PC which means MS is stupid because they let me play the games there" people.

Will very few of you buy an PS4 instead of an XBO because you can play Xbox games on PC? Well, just do it, MS will still get your money then and be happy that you are on Windows 10 buying their games. Chance is probably pretty high that you would also buy a PS4 even if the MS games would be only on XBO and not PC.

Literally sums up my thoughts to a tee.

It's the forum warriors that take this shit to this length.

Now if you were talking about Playstation, Xbox and Wii exclusives you would've gotten a point.

Obviously we are talking about consoles.

Then Microsoft has tons of Xbox exclusives as these games aren't on Sony or Nintendo consoles.

If the NX is a hybrid then Sony will be the only ones with true exclusives.
If you have a PC there is no beed to get an Xbox if you want xbox games.
If you dont have a PC or n xbox but want to play xbox games then the xbox one Would be a more affordable options. Its that simple.

If Microsoft and Nintendo release their games for the PC people would stop purchasing consoles.

Why would you purchase a console when you can play all the other plataform's exclusives plus Pc exclusives for less than purhcasing all the machines ?.

I'm talking about Nintendo releasing games on the nx handheld and home console would make Sony the only company with true exclusives.

What is the difference between Microsoft offering their games on W10 PC and X1 compared to Nintendo offering their games on WiiU and 3DS? I seriously can't see where in the difference lies except in one case the hardware is made by another manufacturer.

So when I said "I struggle playing a game that is absolute inferior. That has no mods, no SLI/cross fire. That doesn't even have the BASICS of steam." it wasn't clear?

So you don't play console games either?

They must be unbearable to you with no modding option and no SLI/CF. ;)

Yeah its really weird, I don't really understand MicroSofts reasoning here. I want to see how it plays out.

Windows is a Microsoft platform, so MS have an interest in putting software exclusively onto it (as opposed to just via steam etc.)

If you're already paying to develop high end software, why not put it on both?

It wouldn't surprise me if sony ended up doing the same if it looked like the extra software sales justified it.

Games aren't cheap to develop anymore.

RIP Dad 25/11/51 - 13/12/13. You will be missed but never forgotten.

MS have exclusives, it's just on both of their platforms. Crazy how people can complain about how they abandon the PC gaming market, now that they're doing a good job on supporting them both they get criticized. impossible to please

When Valve went to them Microsoft refused. A big mistake.

So how were the conditions of the refused contract? Were they fair to both sides? Where can we read about these negotiations?

How much profit do the naysayers think Microsoft is making selling consoles? If they include PC gamers in their install based and sell them Xbox One controllers, have them sign up to the Xbox live and join the Xbox communities. It's better for Microsoft.

To answer the OP question, Microsoft is Xbox and Windows 10, therefore all exclusive from now on will be Microsoft exclusive rather then Xbox Exclusive.

Do you even understand between Windows 10 exclusives vs coming to PC?
