Nintendo have to lower the price asap, that's what the normal Joe cares about.

Wii U is still cheaper than XB1, yet XB1 has outsold it. That makes it even more impressive.

Not really, Wii U has been tanking regardless of what the XB1 is doing.

thats pretty insane.. If they dump the price to 150$ they may have a shot at ps4 too..

(and nothing is sure yet.. remember last gen.. all consoles was the best selling at some point.. WiiU can strike back)

Well.. I said by June 2015. I never thought it would do it so soon though.

Only thing is, it's going to be kinda boring now :(

Everything is pretty much set in stone. I don't see X1 passing PS4, nor do I see Wii U catching X1. Congrats to MS though!!

Wii U has the best exclusives thus far ... but the mass market just isn't biting.

The casual motion gaming fad is over and that was like a knife in Nintendo's back.

It's sad but it's like the Dreamcast all over again except Nintendo at least has a nice nest egg to fall back on.

Wow, a lot of premature reaction in this thread. Wii u will be back on top of xbone soon enough. The xbone got a nice temporary bump from microsofts fire sale, but that will fizzle out quickly. Come 2015 the xbone will be have weekly sales of less than 50k. Wii u should be ahead again by fall 2015 with redesign, price drop & zelda. Xbone will be gone in two years.

Bookmarked!! I look forward to seeing that

We are humbled

Bet reminder: I bet with Tboned51 that Splatoon won't reach the 1 million shipped mark by the end of 2015. I win if he loses and I lose if I lost.

Much quicker than I had originally thought a few months ago.

Congrats XBone! It's well deserved

Yeah, that is not going to happen the last time a Nintendo home console got a redesign was the SNES and that didn't help boost sales since it pretty much happened when the generation was already was over.  Also Halo 5 is bigger then all the Wii U exclusives of next year combined.  If any console will be gone in two years its the Wii U not the X1.

That actually seems quite likely. At least in terms of game support. The succesor will come out in 2017, me thinks.

It was only a matter of time, congrats XB1!
