i completely agree with this post, most people who think the Xbox 360 or Xbox One are better than the PS3 and PS4 or better than the OG Xbox are complete morons in my opinion. Free online and now more powerful hardware by Sony makes the other generational competitors irrelevant. Along the other Pros with Sony consoles like Japanese support and exclusives.
The OG Xbox was the best Xbox because it actually was superior to the PS2 in power, video output and space dueto its harddrive. The console had tons of exclsuives and often times better versions, as well as a lot of japanese support trough the entire generation. I still buy Xbox games and usually prefer them over the PS2 versions as they cost you the same price or even less.
I also think it was extremely shitty from Microsoft to halt support for their first console and even shutting down Xbox Live and the market place for this console despite that people paid 60$ a year for this service.
The same 360 crowd is now claiming Xbox Live is more reliable over PSN..

Combine this with the fact that the U.S is one of the most diverse...

Walk into a used games store and you'll be able to pick up a tonne of games at really cheap prices too (probably better than Steam sale prices actually). Unless there's something you really want just don't walk into the store and buying stuff you don't have time to play won't be a problem. I don't even look at Steam sales anymore...
