Has anyone even played their "game"? Not only they made terrible decisions they made a terrible product. What where they expecting? They would have went bankrupt on any other platform, they got saved by the fact that a Vita projects still costs less then a home console game.

The rating of the game is about 3.3, I don't see that low ratings that much. Though if the problems are limited to what they describe, they should be easy to fix. Graphics looks like really good and the game is cheap.

I've just checked PS3trophies.org and the say the game is stupidly broken and it is really difficult to fix.

Its trash... I fell for it, in a boring afternoon. Waste of time.

I love it when so called "developers" trash a platform, when the real issue is with their skills. They are nonexistent.

Pretty much every bigname indie is supporting and praising the Vita, but they all have one thing in common: they make games that people actually want to play.

Pretty amazing that you can go down when you make a game about Pub games.. I guess the Darts and Pool audience isn't so easily satisfied and would buy any game..

Face the future.. Gamecenter ID: nikkom_nl (oh no he didn't!!)

Aren't these the devs who went broke making WiiWare games and then jumped to PS Minis? Not that Nintendo didn't have some awful (awful, awful, awful...) policies, but I think these guys may just not be cut out for professional game development.

And why have they been using a proprietary engine for their shovelware games? Jesus Christ.

Oh, you bought the game. Alright then. It is a shame, I actually like these type of games. I had a dart game on PSP, which was pretty good (maybe from the same developer?).

Super Icon haven't made a right lot lately. They did release Life of Pixel on PlayStation Mobile which was also released as a technical mess. Thankfully the later patch fixed performance issues and finished off the game, as it only had 1 track of music etc on first release.

They were also going to do a "Create your own tracks" racing game on Vita as well. Maybe they should have focussed on the basics rather than trying to overstretch themselves on multiple projects, especially since they were for some reason insistent on their own engine, I guess they were hoping to make an engine that they could sell on to other small devs.

So what I gather from this is that its their fault for not managing their resources properly?

3rd parties don't sell on Vita confirmed... wait that's pretty known right?

Well, Atlus has enjoyed profitabilty on the Vita.

With a remake. That's cheaper to develop. And a successful one.

Anyways, seems to be mainly the fault of the dev, not the Vita. He clearly states next time he uses a preexisting engine. Developing new engines for games is nowadays only a good investment, if you have a really big game that brings back the money or if you plan on releasing more games on the engine. Using a third-party-engine would have probably made the project cheaper to develop, and therefore profitability more likely.

He should have stuck to the successful consoles and handhelds where no developer ever went bankrupt.

“It appeared that there had even been demonstrations to thank Big Brother for raising the chocolate ration to twenty grams a week. And only yesterday, he reflected, it had been announced that the ration was to be reduced to twenty grams a week. Was it possible that they could swallow that, after only twenty-four hours? Yes, they swallowed it.”

- George Orwell, ‘1984’

He mentions that the main reason was because of them trying to develop an engine for the game instead of adopting others like Unity.

I know Dragon's Crown was inspired by Capcoms arcade Dungeons and Dragons Beat em up. But I wouldn't call it a remake :p

Dragon's Crown Vita ver was the best selling digital title on PSN in 2013 (think this was just for Japan) across all PlayStation formats.
