Anyways, seems to be mainly the fault of the dev, not the Vita. He clearly states next time he uses a preexisting engine. Developing new engines for games is nowadays only a good investment, if you have a really big game that brings back the money or if you plan on releasing more games on the engine. Using a third-party-engine would have probably made the project cheaper to develop, and therefore profitability more likely.
