Doesn't impede my enjoyment one bit. I enjoyed my PS1 a lot back in the day. My launch console eventually started overheating and skipping about a few months after warranty. I wanted it fixed for free but they demanded 75 dollars. They gave me a newer model so it wasn't terrible but it left a sore taste in my mouth about their hardware (which they vastly improved with PS3). I enjoy playing playstation games but I would never own another.

I find them kind of meh.

I couldn't get into shadow of Collossus.

God of war was ok, but like most games I play on the dual shock it felt floaty to me. I really don't like the dual shock the sticks feel  off.

I played demos or the uncharted games (PS VITA and PS3). did not like them. felt too scripted, like most of the game didn't matter, the game play felt like an illusion.

Fair enough. All said and done, $75 is amazingly cheap for rma outside of warranty. I wish I could repair/replace my consoles for that price and get a newer model in return lol. But yeah, I guess hardware failure is a big turn off for some..

I personally haven't owned a Nintendo home console since the Gamecube, because my interests in games has changed a lot since then. I think what did it in for me (to make me loose all interest in buying Nintendo consoles) was with their hardware choices last gen with the Wii.. and then the Wii U.

I do like their consoles for their robustness and longevity though.. :)

I hate platformers (ok, that's a bit strong, but I really don't like them). But nevertheless Sony has not too much to offer for me.  But that's not too surprising: Nintendo had two more gens to build or buy great IPs. They have an edge here over Sony. That will get better for Sony over time.

The God of War series has to be my favorite... I love Mythology.

I also enjoyed Heavenly Sword.

No.. I think if Sony didn't make hardware they would shut down the game development side of their business as well.. A couple studios and franchises would be picked up no doubt. That's the problem with Sony as an extra system for me. Not a huge fan of their 1st party games. Uncharted is pretty good and I like Quantic Dreams games but i'm not sure i would want to play them if they weren't made specifically for one system and didn't have a graphical edge over other games.

They rarely appeal to me. The Sly series wasn't bad, and the Ratchet and Clank series is a decent B-tier series, but other than that, the answer is no.

I love Team Ico games and Naughty Dog games.

Very high in my games list are Uncharted and Shadow of the Colossus.
