:) It's swept into the bush, so to speak.

Or if you're playing online and you win points for the closer you are to a yoga leader, well, it suddenly becomes a game. I know it's an extensive example and we aren't there yet, but by example I think it gets the point across. |
you are right... my knowledge on this is limited.
lets say its a cousin in 2nd degree... in the family but not quite the full definition. :D

think about it casual gaming tied to the Wii mote was heavily pushed .I saw heaps of adds with dad coming home from work and playing wii with the kids so nintendo new the demographic that where buying the Wii ,now the Wiiu is out and we have another interface and they've dropped the Wii's support like a hot rock the hardcore will move on but there will be a lot of Wii's put into the closet next to the exercise machines.
Research shows Video games help make you smarter, so why am I an idiot

1: So casual gaming was alive and well, and then when the games stopped being made and advertised, it just happened to die at the same time? Wonderful how that works.
2: Pack-in games sweetens the deal and sells systems. A pack in game with wide appeal can drive momentum tremendously. This is VERY well documented look at Megadrive saled when Sonic became bundled, the Wii launch with Wii sports, SNES and Super Mario World etc, etc. This is not arguable in the slightest, in fact, I'm really surprised anyone would deny the impact of proper bundling :/
3: Everything becomes poisoned when you divide gamers into only two groups. The same kind of people that bought SMB1 also bought games like NES golf, and most likely Wii Sports. The type of gamer that hangs around on mesage forums though, undoubtedly is a vocal minority.
4: I'd say it's definately possible. But We'll have to see the PS4 before being sure.
5: Absolutely agree. The established gaming market is shrinking, the macro economic conditions doesn't help the situation in the slightest.

Wow. They are really stepping up on the arrogance. Sony really knows nothing about being fairplay... |
Fair play? In any industry? Really?
OT: well lets hope that they actually deliver on the 20th

Just funny that now its like Move has been swept under the carpet and its now taboo to even speak its existence lol |
Move was never pushed as the next coming of Jesus.
Lol, Sony can only wish they'd have a game as massive as Wii Fit or its sequel. xD

Didn't say that, doesn't change Sonys R&D expendatures, nor would that change what I previously said.

What you said makes no sense. It is in no way taboo to speak of the Move. You can speak about it all you want but if anything, Move is more profitable than Kinect. It didn't have that half-billion marketing campaign and people are encouraged to buy more than 1. Each Move unit is sold at a good profit.(Navigational, Camera, Move Wand...etc). Do you really think Move was some sort of financial disaster?
