You have a link from ms for any pricing or package info? I haven't seen one yet

No. I have said many times. The casuals dont play Mario Galaxy, etc. They play the minigame stuff and Wii sports.

Thats why M$ focused on those types of games. They were advanced types of those games. And much more interactive. They will definately steel Wii sales this holiday.

The problem MS have with Kinect I think, is that whilst Nintendo have a lot of the casual crowd titles, they also have a number core titles that use Wii and a number of bridging titles.

There were no games that bridge both core and casual crowds like NSMB on Wii and no core titles for Kinect so at least early on, a lot of the core 360 owners won't bother with Kinect (especially if the rumoured prices are true), and for 3rd-party's, a lot of their games are going to struggle as devs bring out games in the same genres.

Looking at the Kinect games at release, many of them are in the same genres (sports, party, fitness etc.) that are pre-dominantly bought by casuals. At launch, these are all going to be competing for the casual market meaning most will fail, especially with the higher price of HD budgets relative to Wii development.

Nintendo on the other hand showed lots of core, bridging and casual titles for the Wii and showed off some amazing titles in development for 3DS, not to mention the amazing tech that'll be in the handheld.

lets see it costs rumored 150?? and the wii is 200 hhmmm i think price alone killed it. now the ps move is 40 per controller and to really experience it you need 2. so there is 80 and 20 for the detector i think. but anyways take the price of the ps3 and add in move and it is also doubled the wii's price. the thing i would love to see nintendo to do in the next year or two is come out with a wii HD console and have it to where you can trade in your current wii and upgrade it to the HD for about 50-100 dollars and still hvae the same compatibility as the wii. now that would own big time.

Wow try to swing that in PS3's favor as much as possible why don't you. The PS Move controller is $50, plus $30 for the add on "nunchuck" controller plus whatever the camera costs. The PS Move bundle is $99 which comes with the camera and one Move controller and a game, not the "nunchuck" So add that in and you're talking $129 for ONE person to play Move. Two people playing costs the same as a Wii.  $399 for the Playstation console and move bundle and that doesn't include the "nunchuck" so its minimum $429 for ONE person to have the complete Move experience. Move is much more expensive than Kinect 360. In fact I can almost guarantee once the old systems have sold MS will drop the price $50 and put the new 250 gig console at $249 and a bundled version at $349-$399 range. Except Kinect recognizes up to 4 players. Sony has shot themselves in the foot and priced themselves out of the market for the second time.

Ummm... guys. The navigation controller is optional for those that can't hold a dualshock with one hand... That's why SONY's not throwing it into any bundles... YOU DON'T NEED IT to play move titles.

When the MOVE was first demo'd with a game [RE5] it was played with a Wand and DualShock.

Nobody is going to hold the dualshock with one hand. Its a bad enough controller to want to hold in two hands let alone one. Sony priced themselves out of the market again. $429 for a complete move experience for ONE person and a console. $500 for two people to experience Move. Move will bomb big time. By the time the price gets dropped to an acceptable price for the consumer the next gen consoles will be out. And please don't try to tell me that the PS3 has a 10 year life cycle and will compete with the new consoles technically because it won't. It will be Wii tech compared to the next gen.

Microsoft is going to kill Kinect not only with the price point that has yet to be announced, but more importantly, at one point they have to let people play it who they can't control like celebreties and gaming journalists. Kinect seems to be lacking, otherwise Microsoft wouldn't still use prerecorded material to show it off. Price and word of mouth are going to be Kinect's demise.

But yeah, the 3DS is also a much more promising device than Kinect and is going to draw attention away from Microsoft's product.

They showed live demos of Kinect at their press conference. Try again.

EDIT:

Wii's new dancing game, will get eaten alive by Dance Central. Not even in the same league for the dance dance fans out there.

Just like Rock Band crushed Guitar Hero.

It must have because Guitar Hero promptly changed its strategy to include more instruments exactly like Rock Band. Try again.

With the PS3, you need the camera, and a Move controler, and also the equivalent of the Nunchuck.  The package for 1 player is over $100.  To add more than one player is $50 per, if not more.  The PS3 bundle with Move is $400.  I want to hear people say how the PS3 version is a good price while the Kinect set up is a rip off.

I also wonder if Nintendo has stole the 3D thunder with the 3DS.  They took repeated shots at the glasses you need for it another way.

no u dont, if u already have the camera, also the camera can be used for others games and video conferencing up to 6 members.

also u can use a sixaxis dualshock as replacement,

only u want the premium experience to have to buy the others. but then it's pretty much same price as the wii remote

but instead of paying extra por motion plus, u pay extra pfor the camera (if u dont have one and u only have to buy one not many motion plus)

1. Nobody has the camera.

2. Sony is trying to sell more consoles, not trying to sell Move to existing owners.

3. Its the most expensive option out of the three if you want more than 1 person to play. Stop trying to spin it.

The competition showed Nintendo they were going after them last year, and Nintendo came out hard this year in response. Microsoft's Kinect buzz definitely slowed after that event.

I just wonder how long it'll take for Sony to announce a 3D-capable PSP2. I'm sure it'll happen, eventually.
