Why ? It would had the same continuation, if not better, if it was in stock for the full 2020 and 2021.
You draw a line, and throw weekly numbers, but you forget that this compensated in the holidays of 2020, which were awful for PS4 and XBSX. If PS5 is in the same position and there's no covid, it will simply continue to sell those 140k weekly for the remaining of the year (maybe going down to 100k by october) and then have bigger boost than the PS4 in the holiday, which will end up at around the same level overall for the year. Well I am not talking purely about the numbers, cuz they can be different and probably will be, I am talking more of the ratio of the sales. Without covid, PS4 could continue to sell the same numbers weekly, and slightly decline over the months leading to the holidays, but then had a way stronger holiday. Just like PS3 was in 2013.
